Jenni Rivera is half Mexican, half American singer and actress from Long Beach, California. She spoke both English and Spanish fluently. Jenni graduated class valedictorian but became pregnant at the age of 15. She started her music career in 1992 and released her first album, Chacalosa three years after. Jenni Rivera also produced a reality TV shows and was one of the coaches for reality show and singing competition La Voz... México (The Voice...Mexico). Her final concert was held in Monterrey, Mexico before her death in December of 2012. The singer was married 3 times and had five children. After Jenni Rivera died, there was a surge of sales in her albums bought by people from Mexico and the United States.
